Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy Professionals work to assist clients along the lifespan to build strength, balance, coordination, and motor skills to allow for improved function and independence. They also work to assist clients who have pain or dysfunction that is impacting their physical capacity, whether that may be from an injury or surgery, or from a chronic condition, or developmental difference. Physical Therapy professionals use specialized techniques and physical modalities along with therapeutic activities and exercise to assist in reaching their client's goals to reduce pain, improve function, and recover to allow for improved quality of living.

Pelvic Floor and Women's Health Physical Therapy Care
Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy focuses on treating pain, weakness, and dysfunction in the pelvic floor muscles which support crucial organs including the bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. Treatment includes non-surgical techniques to resolve pain and improve your daily function.

Pediatric Physical Therapy
Pediatric Physical Therapy aims to help babies, children, teens and young adults improve their movement, strength, balance, and coordination. It uses fun, play-based activities to help young patients reach normal physical milestones, recover from injuries, or manage long-term medical conditions.

Delays in Milestones: Helping babies, toddlers, and children learn to roll, sit, crawl, or walk, run, and jump.

Injuries: Recovering from infant torticollis, broken bones, joint problems, or sports injuries.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy Professionals work to assist clients along the lifespan to build, improve, or regain independent functioning in that client's meaningful occupations. Occupations are tasks and activities that make up a client's roles throughout their lifespan. Occupations encompass all areas of life including learning and school, work, rest and sleep, play and leisure, self-care and eating/feeding, caring for others, and managing the home and work settings. Occupational Therapists assess to identify client goals and needs, and then tailor treatment in physical, emotional, and mental health concepts and utilize a broad set of specialized skills to treat the "whole person" in their care delivery.

Speech - Language Therapy
Speech and Language Pathology Therapy professionals focus on assessing and treating all types of communication differences, including: receptive and expressive language, cognitive-communication, social communication, voice and fluency, swallowing and dysphagia, and adaptive/AAC use in individuals across the lifespan. SLPs (often called Speech Therapists) work to develop and encourage communication or identify adaptations or accommodations to assist in allowing for communication for those who have developmental delays, injuries, or illnesses. Speech Therapy professionals conduct comprehensive evaluations, create customized treatment plans, and use specialized therapeutic techniques to improve functionality and connection to others in order to overcome barriers to communication and lead fulfilling lives.

Educational Programming
At Suedel Therapeutics and Wellness, we offer educational therapy-based multi-sensory programming designed for each child based on their individual strengths, challenges, and learning style profile. Programming is geared towards individuals who experience challenges with literacy development including dyslexia and/or foundational math skills and number sense. We have worked with our community partners to provide uniquely tailored activities and events to support children and families as they navigate and explore their interests and values, and learn about family dynamics and parenting supports to do the job of raising our next generation.
We have partnered with the amazing Heather Chatham with Chatty Learners to provide family events, free screenings, and parent education supports to young families.

One of our very own, Chassidy Strege is
completing her PhD at UND and is working with our company to complete a fully evidence-based parent support group for families of children with special needs.
We are partnering with North Dakota Ballet Company to share the joy of dance in an inclusive dance environment for dancers with various needs in movement and sensory adaptations.

At Suedel Therapeutics and Wellness, we value educational opportunities for the next generation of therapy professionals. Therefore, we partner with both UND and Northland Community and Technical College to provide student affiliation experiences, volunteer opportunities, and collaborations with students for special projects for their school advancement. Many of our providers also take time to provide special topic lectures to students.
